The Rage played the Mudbugs tonight and it was quite the game.  Bossier /Shreveport may be last place in their division, but only because it is a tougher division.. If you compare the Mudbugs to the other divisions, the Mudbugs aren't doing too bad.  Fortunately for us, they could not stand up to Reid's kick-ass ragin' goal tending tonight in the end...  The Rage won in a shoot out.  

While we remain the division leader with 30 points, we are the league leader from a percentage standpoint.  on top of that Ragin' news, Scott Wray moved into the top point place for the league as a whole.  If you look carefully, you will also notice that the guy in second place behind Wray, has played two more games than us.  Wray should definitely make the All-Stars this year... and Cullaton has a good chance as well, as he is currently in 10th place point wise. 

It is turning out to be quite the season for the Rage fans and the Rage players.  You can tell from watching the team that they seriously want to win the cup this year... If we keep on our current scoring trend, we should have over 100 points by season end...

Woo hoo! Thank you Rage players for making this a season to watch... and thank you to Dunleavy, Plume, Weisgerber and Rosychuck for hanging in there and coming back season.

I'm typing this while watching the Rage game on streaming video through CHL.  What a shocker this game has been.  It's mid-way through the 3rd period and New Mexico leads 8 to 0.  Dunbar gave up 7 points before Reid came in and gave up the 8th.  It is clear that they are all having their lackluster rotten day all at the same time.  On the positive side, if our bad days happen at the same time, then we've gotten our bad game out of the way and will be good to go from here on out.  At this point, the team should try to shake this one off, get back on the bus, soothe their ego's and let it go. Get back to practice on Monday and come out kicking later in the week. 

 It's ok Rage, we know what you are made of and that this will be our year. We are here and support you!

Congratulations are in order for the Rocky Mountain Rage who won their game against the Eagles tonight 4-2.  The Rage now have 11 points in the standings, which put us 3 points behing Laredo with 14 points and 1 point behind Youngstown who has 12.  Both Youngstown and Laredo  are both playing some terrific hockey this season and appear to be hard to beat! Congratulations are certainly in order for those teams and their fans as well.

What a game it was tonight with the Eagles taking the lead 2 to zip.  Quickly the Rage came back and tied the score, then surpassed it and held on leading 4-2!  Scott Wray is now ranked 2nd in the League for scoring.  This team has come so far in a quick amount of time. It is clear these guys are serious about their hockey and play to win. It's nice to see Nathan Rosychuck, Chip Dunleavy, Clay Plume and Trevor Weisgerber (the four returning players) having a good year and part of a strong team.  

Hopefully, tomorrow's game in New Mexico will be another good one, both from the play, score and win aspect. You have got to admit, it makes it a lot of fun for us fans... Hopefully, all of you from the other teams in the league are having as much fun as us Coloradoans are!
